Even the saltiest Alaskan boat captains were confused at why I would even bother.

Because shark leather is amazing and I want to know more about my craft. So I'm taking it to the next level and going ocean-to-workshop.

Someone pray for me, I hope this works because I smell awful. Even after the shower. 🎣🦈

Forgot to post my "Out of Office" over the weekend. While I was out on official R&D product testing.

I'm home today through Thursday then it's off to Alaska for the business retreat.

I had one idea for this sheath and scrapped it as soon as I started. This one needed more attitude.

Using pieces of an Alligator collar where the plates are solid bone, tiles and horns, is not easy. But when you see the vision, you can't fight it, you have to just figure it out and make it real or it will be a demon in your mind of how it should've been. This knife made me think of Arthur Morgan in Red Dead 2. It's a big beasty cowboy sword.

Important to note, this piece is a Maker Special. Meaning Josh asked me up to make this sheath for his personal knife. Man to man. Maker to Maker. So I put my mind and soul into it because I've been honored to work with great makers like him.

This holster configuration is the essence of the character in my logo. Robot Cowboy. The Rogue Apparatus.

Defies logic, yet not only exists - but thrives.

Level 3 retention on an RTI drop plate, fully leather holster body.

Fast, silent, practically indestructible. R&D will be happening over the coming month while I sweat out the miles in the elk woods 💪🏹🦌

How would y'all feel about a fixed blade knife designed by me, and made by one of the very best custom knife makers out there Bear Den Blades ?

I drew up this concept about a year ago, or maybe more and had chewed on it for a long time before finally talking Bryan Davis into making me a prototype.

I'll admit, it's an oddball, but don't judge a knife before you hold it. This is the singularity of all of my favorite knives combined into one, with the purpose of processing game animals.

1/8" AEBL stainless blade stock and G10 scales with a "critical hit" D20 lanyard.

This was made in February, but I needed to carry it for a while to make sure the design was good before showing this first iteration. I may make some small tweaks but this is quickly becoming my favorite EDC fixed blade.
