Yesterday, I started working on the LIFTX for downwind foiling. Usually I would have jumped in with my wing gear, but I need to put in the time to learn DW. And I was not disappointed! I rode upwind for about a mile off Kailua beach, and then turned downwind onto the swells. Oh man! IYKYK. Steady head-high swells. A couple of kiteboarders flew by wondering where my kite was. So much fun! Of course I'll be back all week with 20-30mph winds in the forecast.
