✅ Mid drive shaft installed
✅ Torque converter changed
✅ Carrier bearing mount customized to fit mid shaft
✅ Got Dad's truck shifter fixed
✅ Figured out what else we need to do to get ready for Sick The Magazine Sick 66

Left to do:
☑️ Install prop drive shaft
☑️ Bleed brakes again
☑️ Pack up
☑️1,000 other things I'm probably forgetting 😅

Down to the wire this weekend! ⏳ Dad’s idea for the driveshaft fix worked like a charm. Now we just need to get that new pinion gear in the rear. Who’s getting down to the wire with me on Sick 66?

One fix always leads to another. Just when I thought I was making progress, the new driveshaft turned out to be a bit too long. Anybody else have that problem? Stay tuned for the fix to this one!

Well it looks like we got another one of them learning experiences... Ordered the parts we thought would work for the Strange 9" rear end but it turns out they won't work. Either we need to get a 35 spline pinion gear or we'll need to leave the rear u joint as a 1350 and get a new drive shaft made. Soo we won't be driving the Suburban this weekend. 😭
