Meet Liam Buce, a midfielder from St. Paul, Minnesota, and one of the dedicated players in MSM’s School of Champions. ⚽️
Liam grew up playing for local clubs in Minnesota, always working toward his goal of competing at the highest level possible. When his family learned they would be relocating to Texas, Liam and MSM made it their goal to prepare him for the next chapter of his soccer journey. The focus was on becoming the best midfielder he could be and arriving ready for his upcoming trials in Texas.
Over multiple trips to Naples, Liam worked closely with Coach Lucas Z. to improve his biomechanics, particularly his hip and ankle mobility. By addressing these limitations and refining his shooting technique, Liam developed greater power and efficiency in his movements. The results began to show as Liam started scoring goals from outside the box and becoming a more dangerous attacking threat.
His development also continued through MSM’s School of Champions with Coach Brecc Evans. Through game film reviews, Brecc challenged Liam to become more aggressive, play with confidence, and take more risks on the field. With the pressure of an upcoming trial, Liam committed to a 30-day lock-in period focused on preparation, consistency, and accountability. Every part of his development was centered around making sure he was ready when the opportunity came.
Today, Liam is competing in the FC Dallas environment, playing alongside higher-level competition and continuing to build on his progress. For a lifelong Manchester United fan who dreams of one day playing at Old Trafford, this is another important step toward that goal.
This is what MSM’s School of Champions is about. Continuing to develop at a World Class Level so when the right opportunity comes, players are ready for it.
Liam has put in the work to give himself this opportunity. Now, what he does with it is up to him. The sky is the limit!
