I refuse to feel guilty about creating an environment that nurtures and centers our comunidad.
⏰ I don’t get upset when students are late- I know this is a hot take but for some getting a to class is already hard enough. I don’t make it harder by being upset if folks are late. No pasa nada.
🧱 Using and demoing props, I believed that they support our practice. As a teacher I demo them and give variations for students to choose what feels good to them.
🤭Students giggling in class, or sharing a quick message, often times this leads to conversations after class and deeper connections.
