Earlybird takes flight 🏆

After a morning of drifting around wondering if we’d get a race at all, the breeze finally filled in and gave us one last race to decide it all.

With the top three spots still up for grabs, Swifthalf, Khumbu and Earlybird were pushing hard right to the finish. Swifthalf took the final race win, but Earlybird’s consistency over the weekend earned them the overall victory.

Another brilliant day on the Solent.

Three more races in the books and once again the fleet delivered close racing. While the breeze was slightly lighter than yesterday, it was no less challenging, with plenty of lead changes and positions constantly up for grabs.

A fresh afternoon breeze arrived for Race 6, shaking things up.

Wet, wild and a little bit crazy out on the Solent today 💨

Round 3 Royal Southern Yacht Club got underway with three races in 18–28 knots, delivering plenty of action and some seriously tight racing. In conditions like these, even the smallest mistake can cost big.

Race 3 🥇 🥈 Khumbu 🥉 Bullit

Three races down and already five different boats have featured on the podium. With racing this close, it’s all still to play for heading into tomorrow.

🕺 IT’S RACE WEEK 🕺

Round 3, hosted by the Royal Southern Yacht Club, is almost here.

Nine boats are set to line up this weekend, with even more set to join the UK fleet for Nationals and Cowes Week. Forecast: sunshine, breeze and plenty of Cape 31 action.

Flying Jenny close the UK season in commanding style — winning four of the five rounds they contested, including today’s final showdown.

It’s been a season defined by fierce battles on the water, with Akheilos pushing hard all the way to the end. But Sandy Askew and team proved unstoppable, sealing the circuit with a campaign to remember.

Bullit sits in third on 15, with Jiraffe just one point behind on 16.
