Once the parents have vacated the gym floor, the holidaying kids came out to play. Can you row 75 calories? They all scrambled for the rowers!

Parents can train whilst their kids have the space to get on with their own entertainment. ☺️ This is how we keep our V2'er consistent with their training commitments.

Twenty V2'ers came in for a chaotically fun hour of sweat.

In teams of 3 smashing their "Don't Drop the Easter Eggs" workout ... and still holding onto their "eggs" ... and still smiling!

Today was the Flutter International Hospice Half Marathon, and what a day it was!

Eight V2’ers took on the challenge and absolutely smashed it: Bryony Barron, Stephen Caley, Katherine Cubbon, George Harker, Dav Mazzone, Kailyn Mazzone, Gail Sheeley, and Raymond Whitfield - all conquering 21km and bringing home an incredible collection of personal bests 🏃‍♂️🔥

It was a real honour to stand at the finish line and watch each and every one of them come through. The hard work, dedication, and commitment they’ve put in truly paid off - and then some.

Massive congratulations to you all. I’m incredibly proud.

Meet our Masters Class athletes Mike, Tony, Gerry and Rich.

Strength and fitness enthusiasts in functional fitness, these incredible V2'ers train consistently to stay ahead of life’s game. They show up time and time again without fail, and their focus in every class speaks volumes about their commitment and discipline.

Today, the mighty four completed:

Strength
4 sets of 5 deadlifts at 75% effort, with broad step and squat as an accessory.

Cardio
Interval training of 5 sets of 1:00 effort with 0:30 rest.

Conditioning
14:00 to complete as many rounds as possible of:
6 bodyweight squats
6 dumbbell floor press
0:30 rest

Our Masters Class runs every Tuesday and Thursday at 10:30.

What a session! The energy in the room was next level and everyone showed up ready to put in work.

Strength focus:
5️⃣ sets of 5️⃣ deadlifts at 85% effort

Heavy. Focused. Powerful.

Conditioning focus:
25 x 1:00 intervals covering:
🔥 Cardio
🔥 Sandbag carries
🔥 Burpee box jumps
🔥 Dual dumbbell ground to overhead
🔥 Jumping lunges

This wasn’t just a workout ... it was a test of strength, engine, and mental grit. The kind of session that leaves you walking out proud ... and maybe a little wobbly. 😅

V2 Gym = Version 2 = building a better version of you!

Pricing:

First 2 classes = free

Thereafter, monthly subs are paid upfront and via standing order, set up and managed by you online or with your bank.

2 classes a week = £50 per month
3 classes a week = £70 per month
4 classes a week = £90 per month
Unlimited = £100 per month
Drop-in fee members = £7
Drop-in fee non-members = £10

🔥 Celebrating Success at V2 Gym! 🔥

Massive congrats to Matt Morley and Keiran Kendall, who competed as a pair at London’s ATXH competition yesterday.
Our boys smashed it and took P2 in their heat in the Endurance Zone - mega performance!

Here's what they did ...

Strength Zone
• 1RM Strict Press
• 3RM Back Squat
• 5RM Deadlift
👉 Total weight lifted for our V2’ers: 658kg

Endurance Zone
• 22:00 time cap
• Max distance covered as a pair: 9.028km
• Swap every time one partner completed a 750m run and the other jumped on the rower

Metcon Zone
• Time cap: 25:00
• Finished in: 16:09
Work split between the pair:
• 60 cal ski
• 60 single-arm ground-to-overhead (20kg)
• 60m 50kg sandbag carry
• 60 x 24” box jump overs
• 60m dual 20kg DB walking lunges
• 60m burpee broad jumps
• 60 cal ski

They trained hard and delivered brilliant results across all three zones. Huge well done to you both 👊
