The "Home to Home" journey continues! Clément is moving forward with his incredible 11,000 km cycling challenge from Vietnam all the way back to Brittany, France.

📍 Where is he now?
After thousands of kilometers on the road, Clément reached Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan.

🏔️ A Legendary Route: The M41!
He is currently tackling the mythical Pamir Highway (M41). Following the ancient Silk Road, this route connects Dushanbe to Osh in Kyrgyzstan.
It is a massive challenge through high mountain peaks: 1,400 km with 20,000 meters of elevation gain!

🛠️ Overcoming Challenges:
Long-distance travel always comes with surprises. Clément recently faced major technical issues in Tajikistan, including a bent brake disc and a damaged derailleur.
However, his determination remains stronger than ever, driven by his mission to help others.

✨ Cycling for a Brighter Future:
This physical challenge is first and foremost a solidarity project.
Through this journey, Clément is supporting Mekong Plus to fund school scholarships for 200 underprivileged children in Vietnam and Cambodia, ensuring they can stay in school and build a better future.

🚴‍♂️ CẬP NHẬT HÀNH TRÌNH CỦA CLÉMENT: CHINH PHỤC TAJIKISTAN! 🇻🇳 ➡️ 🇫🇷

Hành trình mang tên "Home to Home" vẫn đang tiếp tục! Anh Clément đang kiên trì trên chặng đường đạp xe đạp phi thường dài 11.000 km từ Việt Nam trở về vùng Bretagne, Pháp.

📍 Vị trí hiện tại:
Sau khi vượt qua hàng ngàn cây số kể từ khi rời Việt Nam, anh Clément đã đặt chân đến Dushanbe, thủ đô của Tajikistan.

🏔️ Thử thách trên cung đường huyền thoại: M41!
Hiện tại, anh đang thử thách bản thân trên con đường huyền thoại qua dãy núi Pamir (M41). Được xây dựng men theo Con đường Tơ lụa cổ xưa, tuyến đường M41 hiểm trở này nối liền Dushanbe với thành phố Osh của Kyrgyzstan.
Đây là một thử thách vô cùng lớn lao giữa các đỉnh núi cao: hành trình dài 1.400 km với tổng độ cao leo dốc lên tới 20.000 mét!

🛠️ Vượt qua khó khăn trên đường đi:
Hành trình dài không thể tránh khỏi những sự cố bất ngờ. Anh Clément đã gặp phải sự cố kỹ thuật nghiêm trọng tại Tajikistan (đĩa phanh bị cong và hỏng bộ đề).
Thế nhưng, ý chí và quyết tâm của anh vẫn vẹn nguyên, bởi anh luôn hướng về mục tiêu nhân văn cao cả ở phía trước.

✨ Mỗi vòng quay bánh xe – Một tương lai cho các em nhỏ:
Thử thách thể lực này trước hết là một hành trình sẻ chia và đong đầy tình yêu thương.
Thông qua dự án này, anh Clément đồng hành cùng Mekong Plus với một mục tiêu vô cùng ý nghĩa: mang lại cơ hội nhận học bổng cho 200 em học sinh có hoàn cảnh khó khăn tại Việt Nam và Campuchia, giúp các em có cơ hội tiếp tục đến trường.

12,000 villageois 🏃🏃‍♂️courent! (English below)

"Nous voudrions que TOUS les enfants soient à📚 l'école!" C'est ce que nous disent les villageois. L'école coûte cher et trop d'enfants en sont exclus. Les ONG peuvent aider mais sans les villageois et les autorités locales, on ne va pas loin. Mekong Plus ne fait rien sans eux. C’est ça ­le développement durable!

"We want ALL children to be in school 📚!" That's what the villagers tell us. School is expensive, and too many children are left out. NGOs can help, but without the villagers and local authorities, we won't get far. Mekong Plus does nothing without them. That's what sustainable development is all about!

Des artistes solidaires

Événement rare : l'Épicerie Solidaire et Mekong Plus ont organisé ensemble une journée dédiée à la solidarité, avec le soutien de plusieurs artistes.

L'Épicerie Solidaire apporte une aide alimentaire à 150 ménages, sans poser de questions — et la parole, l'échange y sont aussi importants que la nourriture. Ne l'écoute que ceux qui font patiemment la queue dans le froid pendant des heures : ici, on se retrouve, on se parle. En Belgique, 500 000 personnes — soit 5 % de la population — reçoivent une aide alimentaire.

Au Vietnam, Mekong Plus s'adresse à celles et ceux qui vivent avec moins d'un euro par jour : ils représentent aussi 5 % !

Artists in Solidarity

A rare event: l'Épicerie Solidaire and Mekong Plus joined forces to organize a day dedicated to solidarity, with the support of several artists.

L'Épicerie Solidaire provides food aid to 150 households, no questions asked — and conversation and human connection there matter just as much as the food. You need only listen to those who patiently queue for hours in the cold: here, people meet, people talk.

In Belgium, 500,000 people — 5% of the population — receive food aid. In Vietnam, Mekong Plus reaches out to those living on less than one euro a day: they also represent 5%!

A day of solidarity and celebration, this time reaching across borders and continents.

Most people would make the journey from Vietnam to France by plane. Clément chose to do it by bicycle. 🚴‍♂️

Born in Vietnam and raised in France, he is cycling between the two countries he calls home while raising funds to help at least 200 children stay in school.

Davy and his older brother were abandoned by their parents. They are now being raised by their grandmother.

With very little money, she could not afford to keep both boys in school. Sadly, Davy’s brother had to give up his education so that Davy can continue studying.

To help the family, Mekong Plus gave Davy a scholarship and a bicycle, providing his grandmother some much-needed support.

Many children like Davy are still waiting for help.
