EARTH ELEMENT
Finally, the heat and the scorching sun have subdued. Many parts of the world have entered late summer time, people start to come back to normal routine after holidays, time spent away, if we are lucky to have some this year :)

In TCM and Qigong, late summer is the time for Earth element. Even though, Earth has its own time and phase in the year, it gives support to all other 4 elements. Earth's qualities are security, nurture and support. If you think back about Summer, it's the time of freedom, expansion and creativity. If we have had a blast during the Summer, probably now it's time to come back to find the ground.

Too many activities or excitements (Fire/Summer/Heart) can trigger anxiety, insomnia, restlessness or fatigue. So this is a perfect time to practice Qigong Earth Element to support our energy, in order to feel rooted, to find nourishment and security within us.
