🏆 NEW CASTROY DISTANCE RECORD

A new chapter in Castroy history.

Huge congratulations to Alexander Robé for setting the first-ever 318 km flight in Castroy history, flying for more than 10.5 hours under an En-C Ozone Photon. Speed course is aprox 30.67kph!!!!

This was also Lex’s second test flight with Castroy, and an absolutely impressive 318 km achievement, once again proving what both pilot and harness can achieve together.

Thank you, Lex, for your trust, commitment, and for becoming part of Castroy’s story. This flight has set a new benchmark and opened a new chapter in Castroy history.

One of Castroy’s key design goals is its in-flight ABS or CBS activation, helping pilots stay more relaxed and reducing fatigue in rough air.

We know we're still a small brand with just ONE product, so sorry if it feels like we're talking about Castroy all the time. But it's hard not to share news like this!

Congratulations to Duncan Browning on winning Task 4 at the Canadian National League – Sport Class flying an Ozone Alpina 5 + Castroy by Bello. 🎉

This is especially exciting because Sport Class is exactly the category Castroy was designed for. We can't wait to hear more feedback from everyday XC and Sport Class pilots around the world.

I've always believed that around 80% of a great result comes from the pilot's skill and experience, while the remaining 20% comes from the equipment. That's why we're incredibly proud to contribute even a small part to achievements like this.

Three 200+ km flights. Six XC flights. One seriously impressive week.

David Neuböck has been making the most of every flyable day with Castroy.

In just six XC flights, he logged an incredible 1,175.76 km in total, including:

🏆 281.39 km
🏆 249.89 km (just 110 meters short of another 250!)
238.75 km
97.26 km
70.01 km
38.46 km

Two flights around the 250 km mark within a few days is already an outstanding achievement. But what makes this even more fascinating is the weather.

During the last four consecutive flying days, the Alps were experiencing a significant heatwave, bringing exceptionally strong thermals, demanding conditions and long days in the air. Rather than staying on the ground, David turned those conditions into opportunity, flying a remarkable 839.92 km in just four flights—an average of 210 km per flight.

For us, this is one of the most interesting real-world validations of Castroy. It's not just about a single record flight, but about delivering the comfort and efficiency that allow a pilot to launch day after day, stay focused for 9–11 hours, and consistently convert difficult conditions into big XC distances.
