when I finally had the courage to surf on the Praia Norte (18years ago) on a small day, I immediately felt that it was a place different from all the other beaches, the wave had a special energy the place was very wild and at that time was mainly frequented by nudists, vais prá PN prime cuidade! My grandmother, when I didn't even know how to swim, she was used to say that the waves in Nazaré were huge and that in the winter they normally reach the road....far from imagining the huge potential of it and in what Nazaré became today in terms of surf tourism!
I still remember being on the beach waiting for someone to surf because I didn't like surfing alone in the PN and now oh my God there's no place to park the scooter!!!
Now with 39 years old I still charge here, on my way of course...I still don't need a jet ski 😅 but if someone offers me a ride I'm IN, is starting to be hard to paddle out there....

Last picture is with sr. GRILO the first surfer and kitesurfer of Nazaré!!! This man has beautiful stories here...

I love old classic boards, they have so much energy so much kilometers surfing waves each scar shows a good session (or not ahh)!!!

This was the penultimate surf with this super cool and old Portuguese board and thank you to show up and record it!
