Cricket is an internationally recognized sport and even part of the SEA Games. Sadly, Vietnam still has no official cricket team to participate.

Since 2021, we’ve been training local Vietnamese players here in Da Nang, and we’ve discovered many talented people. But running a cricket club without recognition or sponsors is tough. As someone once said, “90% of the hard work is done by 10% of the members.” Very true — yet we still show up every Sunday morning.

Because cricket needs a big ground, we book a full football pitch every week just to practice properly. We don’t post much on social media, but a lot of amazing things are happening behind the scenes that only regular members see.

This post is to remind everyone: we have not given up on our dream.
One day, Vietnam will have an official cricket team — and we will compete with other countries.
One day, Vietnam will bring home SEA Games medals in cricket.

Until then, Da Nang Dragons Cricket Club will keep growing, keep fighting, and keep playing.
