🏏 **Sunday Cricket Reminder – Registered Members**

Good morning, everyone!

This is a reminder that our weekly cricket session takes place **every Sunday from 7:30 AM onwards**.

💰 **Member Contribution:** **125,000 VND per player**

Your contribution covers:
• 3-hour ground rental
• Match balls and equipment
• Ground setup and maintenance
• Helping keep our club running and growing the cricket community in Vietnam

Please try to arrive **15–20 minutes early** so we can organize teams and start on time.

Thank you to every member who continues to support the club. Your contribution isn't just for a game—it's what allows us to keep cricket alive and growing in Da Nang.

Last Sunday, we played two exciting T10 matches under intense heat. Despite the pitch favoring the bowlers, our star players turned it into a thrilling, down-to-the-wire finish.

Our next T20 match — DD Expats vs DD University — kicks off tomorrow at 6:00 AM. Another T10 game follows at around 9:30 AM, featuring DD University vs DD City Campus.

Come out and support us, or share this post with your friends to help grow our club. If you’re visiting from a cricket-playing country, we’d really appreciate it if you could bring along some quality leather balls to keep our games going.

EXPATS EDGE OUT UNIVERSITY IN A T20 CRACKER! 🏏🔥

What a way to kick off the season! The Danang Dragons took to the field today for an "Open Match" that had everything—swinging deliveries, tactical bowling, and a chase that went down to the wire!

The Breakdown:
📉 DD University set a target of 110/6, with Manoj (20) and Sanjay (19) grinding hard against a clinical Expats attack. Soundar was the pick of the bowlers, snagging 2 wickets for just 14 runs!

🚀 The Chase: The DD Expats came out swinging! Dee played a blistering knock of 32 off 27, while Arth anchored the middle with a solid 22. Despite a brilliant 3-wicket haul from University Captain Naiz Shaik, the Expats crossed the line in the 16th over.

Final Result: DD Expats win by 4 wickets! 🏆

This isn’t just a friendly—this is a proper T20 match with Online Live Scoring. Every run and every wicket counts toward your official ratings, Man of the Match, and Best Bowler awards! 📊🔥

⚠️ SAFETY FIRST:
We are playing with a standard white ball. Full protective gear is mandatory. No shoes, no batting—no exceptions! Let’s keep it professional and keep it safe.

Just a quick update — we’re still playing every Sunday at 7:30 AM, even if we haven’t been posting much lately. The game is very much alive!

We’re also in talks with a well-known cricket brand to support us in the coming years — exciting times ahead. 🏏

If you’ve been away for a while and miss the rhythm, now’s the perfect time to jump back in and reclaim your spot. This summer is shaping up to be big, with touring teams and several events lined up.

Cricket is an internationally recognized sport and even part of the SEA Games. Sadly, Vietnam still has no official cricket team to participate.

Since 2021, we’ve been training local Vietnamese players here in Da Nang, and we’ve discovered many talented people. But running a cricket club without recognition or sponsors is tough. As someone once said, “90% of the hard work is done by 10% of the members.” Very true — yet we still show up every Sunday morning.

Because cricket needs a big ground, we book a full football pitch every week just to practice properly. We don’t post much on social media, but a lot of amazing things are happening behind the scenes that only regular members see.

This post is to remind everyone: we have not given up on our dream.
One day, Vietnam will have an official cricket team — and we will compete with other countries.
One day, Vietnam will bring home SEA Games medals in cricket.

Until then, Da Nang Dragons Cricket Club will keep growing, keep fighting, and keep playing.
