Bá Lộc Bida Club - CLB Billards Bá Lộc SCHOLA HYBERNIAE is a unique Irish female vocal ensemble specialising in chant and early polyphony. Men's voices join the group for various occasions.

Schola Hyberniae was founded in 2010 by Giovanna Feeley. The core voices of the group are women's, with the main repertoire consisting of plainchant including Gregorian chant, chant from Irish manuscripts, and early polyphony. For various occasions men's voices have joined with the ladies. Since its foundation, the group has welcomed members from diverse worlds including vocal performance, educati

on, arts management, opera, Irish traditional music, and musicology. All of the vocalists are talented solo and choral singers, with specialised experience of sacred music in general, and chant in particular. Schola Hyberniae is in much demand throughout Ireland and abroad for recitals, cultural presentations, liturgies, carol services, and more. The close harmonies of the group's polyphonic singing, as well as the strong, seamless unison sound, make Schola Hyberniae a distinctive vocal ensemble. The group is privileged to enjoy a close working relationship with Dr Ann Buckley, Director of the AMRA project and a musicologist specialising in chant for Irish saints. In this collaboration, Schola Hyberniae has had the opportunity to perform and record many chants which have lain undiscovered and unvoiced for centuries.
