🌊 We’re launching BleachWatch Global at Crucian Adventure Divers in collaboration with Mote Marine Laboratory!
Join us on July 3, 2026, from 10:00 AM–5:00 PM at the Crucian Adventure Dive Center for a hands-on citizen science experience designed for both snorkelers and divers.
Participants will receive:
• A 1.5-hour interactive training led by Mote Marine Laboratory staff
• Guidance on identifying and documenting coral bleaching
• A guided snorkel or scuba dive to apply those skills in real-world field conditions
• Official BleachWatch Global report submission training
• BleachWatch Global certification
Your observations can help scientists monitor reef health, detect bleaching events early, and support long-term coral conservation. No prior science experience is required—every report helps.
Pricing:
• Divers with personal gear: $30, including one free tank
• Divers requiring rental gear: $60
• Snorkelers: $15
