Want to TRY DIVING? 1/2 day introductory course for beginners gets you in the water the same day. The PADI Discover Scuba Diving course introduces you to the water with a few required skills, a tour of the underwater world with your instructor at your side, and you finish in about 3 hours @ the famous Frederiksted Pier. Mark your calendars...Nov 9 2019 4-8pm. The HeART of Turtles installation will kick-off with a ‘Hatching Event’ at Sandcastle on the Beach. Following the Hatching Event, The HeART of Turtles sculptures will be placed on display at various locations around the island for public enjoyment until the Spring of 2021. A few of the confirmed display sites include the Frederiksted Pier, the Christiansted Seaplane Terminal, and Cane Bay. The turtles will then be auctioned off at one or more major community charity events, and the proceeds will support local youths participating in Project Promise and Junior Scientists In the Sea.
