Wildlife Wednesday!
We’ve had a couple juvenile spotted eagle rays (Aerobatus narinari) hanging around Salt River Marina lately!
This species is found in many tropical regions throughout the world. They are active swimmers and forage on a variety of fish and invertebrates. Sometimes you can spot them leaping out of the water while swimming close to the surface.

Wildlife Wednesday!

Did you know there’s a species of deer that live in the U.S Virgin Islands? The white-tailed deer (Odocoileus virginianus) can be found on all three islands and first records of them being brought and released on St. Croix date back to the late 1700s. They get their name from the bright white underside of their tail.

Some of our guests we able to see some of their tracks on a beach stop during a National Park Tour!
