Hi all! It's been awhile but we have a lot of exciting things to announce!

First, is the formation of the St. Thomas Sailing Center here at St. Thomas Yacht Club. We have expanded our fleet to include 7 IC-24's and 5 Hobie Waves. We are also expanding our boat user program to include the IC's! This means for an annual fee you are able to access the IC-24 fleet to sail to St. John, Buck Island, Lovango Cay and many more! We will be offering three levels of classes from Beginner Learn to Sail up to advanced racing clinics, as well as many more racing series and regattas. Please go and like the St. Thomas Sailing Center Page below to keep up to date with all the sailing at STYC as I will no longer be posting on this page.

Second, is the annual Carlos Aguilar Match Race (www.carlosmatchrace.com) is right around the corner! The regatta is sailed in our recently refitted fleet from Thursday December 1st to Sunday December 4th. Racing takes place only 50 yards from Charlotte Amalie, and there will be bleachers and commentary along shore. This year the Carlos Aguilar Match Race is also the championship event for the Women's International Match Racing Series (wimseries.com). Come by and watch!

Finally, we are having an open house for the sailing center on Sunday December 11th from 1pm to 5pm. There will be free refreshments as well as rides on the IC-24's and Hobie Waves. We will be debuting many of our new programs and announcing some exciting events. We will see you there!
