1. “You need to stay in a calorie deficit all the time to have abs.”
Yes, being in a calorie deficit helps reveal abs.
But muscles are built when you train properly and fuel your body well.
You don’t need to live on a constant diet to have abs.
If you don’t train hard enough and you don’t eat the right amount of macronutrients for your body, you won’t build the muscle that actually shapes them.
Abs come from training, nutrition and balance, not from living on restriction forever.
2. “The more calories I burn with HIIT, the better my abs will look.”
Not necessarily.
Many people think the more HIIT they do, the faster they will lose fat.
But when you abuse intense training every day, your body can become stressed. Cortisol goes up and recovery goes down.
A stressed body often holds inflammation instead of revealing definition.
3. “It’s normal to always have a bloated stomach.”
No. Constant bloating is not normal and you don’t have to accept it.
Most of the time it comes from inflammation, stress, digestion issues or foods that simply don’t work well for your body.
When you learn how to take care of your body properly, bloating is something you can improve.
4. “You can’t have abs and live a normal life.”
You can.
You can train hard, enjoy food, go out, travel and still take care of your body.
What is not sustainable is punishing yourself every day trying to look perfect.
Strong, balanced and consistent.
That’s the FITMAMI way. 💪🏼
