The Progression
I am not a student of Achille Marozzo but here i am trying out the progression of the guards in a not so pinturesque manner^^, just guard to guard.
This is my interpretation of the guards and i can see i did some things wrong.
Its from the first book i got called "old sword play". Apparently the artist made some drawing mistakes and that makes it really confusing... 🤔🤨 did the artist really make a mistake or are we missing some information?
Does anybody know how to do this drill against the four opponents?
This is what HEMA and AMA are about, going back to the sources on your own to try and figure out what the masters wanted to teach. Its okay to be wrong as long as you are willing to be corrected.

No cone, circles.
You always fight for the cone.
Facing is important!
Fighting sideways is the way! Use your symmetry.
Remember this:
- wrist joint = Ring joint
- elbow joint = Horn j.
- shoulder joint = Spindle j.
This circular movements have many names but you can remember them as "ring circle"/"wrist circle", horn circle, etc.
I will explain the rest later...
This movements are very important, just try them for now🤘

Los conos son circulos proyectados.
Se usa para mantener control de la linea central y los angulos de ataque al mismo tiempo. (+)
-Los tres vértices: hombro, codo y muñeca.
-Las dos direcciones: Clockwise and counter-clockwise above/below
-Los dos tipos: Abierto y cerrado (open and closed)
-Los dos estados: afuera o adentro (inside or outside)
