Great way for our Quitman High School fishing team to finish our regular season tournament on Lake Claiborne today.

Jake Vail & Jaxon Cheatwood took 1st place with 22.44 lbs AND Jake had the big bass of the tournament with an 8.48 lb kicker!

Jaxen Culpepper & Hayden Essmeier finished in 3rd place overall AND were the top Junior High team with 15.98 lbs!

Maddox Duck & his fishing partner Benton Terry weighed in with 12.58 lbs. and got 6th place.

LHSAA State Bass Fishing Championship Day 2. Maddox Duck & Lily Duck are currently sitting in 4th place. Boat captain Hunter Spangler. Final day weigh in today at 3:30!

We are happy to announce the youth division 13-17 years old will be fighting over $1,000 in the Majestic bass tournament along with being entered into the main tournament. June 6th 2026 on lake Darbonne!!

Congratulations to Maddox Duck & Lily Duck. Today, they competed in the LHSAA Regional state qualifier tournament on D’Arbonne. They tied for First Place with a 19.2 bag and 4.4 Big Bass. They will now fish for the LHSAA State Championship on Toledo Bend March 13 & 14.

It’s time to start signing up for the SAF State Championship that will also be a points tournament for NELAHS Anglers. High School and Juniors will both fish on Saturday this year. If your team attends different schools, register them as NELAHS Anglers. **Early registration could be beneficial in a tie breaker situation.
