Trail & Vine

Trail & Vine Currently off-grid and enjoying the trails and vineyards ! 🄾 Say hello at [email protected]. We pair hiking trails and local wineries for you to try.

Let's go! After spending years discussing our hiking adventures over a glass of wine together, we want to share these joys with you in hopes our treks, talks and tastings inspire. Beautiful vistas, people and vineyards are never far. We pair amazing trails with local wineries and look forward to hearing your favorites too!

Hello dear friends! šŸ‘‹

We hope you are all out there enjoying incredible hikes and beautiful vineyard views. ā˜€ļøšŸ·

We wanted to pop in and share an update regarding Trail & Vine. As you’ve probably noticed, our corner of the internet has been a bit quiet lately. Life happens, and we’ve shifted our focus to prioritize family. We know many of you can relate—family first, period. ā¤ļø

During this time, we’ve done some reflecting on what we built with Trail & Vine and where we want to go from here. Our absolute truest passion is being in nature with the people we love, followed by enjoying a lovely glass of wine together. šŸŒ²šŸ‡

While sharing our journeys and encouraging you to explore has been one of the greatest joys of our lives, we’ve decided it’s time to focus fully on the act of doing it, rather than the daily sharing of it.

So, while we are stepping away from regularly posting on social media moving forward, we aren't completely closing the door! We are keeping our email active. If you ever want to collaborate on an event, need a recommendation, or just want to say hello, please shoot us a note at [email protected]! šŸ“© We are also keeping our social media channels open: FB: & IG: .

It has been our absolute privilege to hike, explore wineries, and swap stories with you all. Please keep exploring—there’s so much to find in your town and beyond.

Thank you for everything. Happy sips and trails! šŸ„¾šŸ„‚

With love,

Lisa & Kirsten

While we fell in love with the Boiler Blush (ok, maybe Lisa was especially drawn to this one, being a Boiler herself!), we could not pass by the cocktail of the month, the Watermelon Sugar! While the name rings of sweetness, the drink itself was truly refreshing on a beautifully sunny day! Another bonus, Brent and Francis share their cocktail recipes on their website! https://www.rejoicingvine.com/

Brent and Francis, the winery owners, not only are committed to creating wonderful sparkling wine in Indiana, they are also committed to nature and regenerative farming. Also, one of the main ways they reduce their carbon footprint, is to serve the majority of the wines in their tasting from stainless steel kegs, versus bottles. By reducing the usage of packaging and bottle usage, they can save an average of 10,000 bottles in a landfill with one stainless steel keg - that is a commitment to the environment!

Kirsten and Lisa chose to each do a flight of 3 tastings, plus some charcuterie (as we do!). The bubbly is truly wonderful, but the food is not to be overlooked! The Rejoicing Vine does so many events also and has a wonderful Sunday brunch menu!
