Rippin’ Lips Custom Rods I started making fishing poles about a year ago, because I could never find that one ice fishing rod that I liked.

So I started making ice fishing rods for family and by word of mouth. I've been working on some really neat wrapping designs, and am always looking to try new ones.

While the epoxy is drying on the ice rod, I am working on fixing this rod for a customer. We painted the rod for him, still have to tie guides on but it’s looking good.

Working on a 34” moderate action, med-light power ice rod. Just wrapped a nice diamond pattern design.

When a customer reach’s out to you about there rod because it broke while bringing a big fish. So they ship the broken rod back, you save the ashes and rebuild!

Finished 2 ice rods for a Marine Veteran. Rod on the left is a 30” med-light action with a moderate action. Rod on the right 32” med-heavy action with a fast power.

There are so many options for custom rod builds than I have listed above. I can make a basic rod to a rod that has a very unique wrap just for you. I can also get lots of different lengths, colors, number of pieces, rod power and action.
