Betty's Board Shop, a division of North American Adventure and Gear, started from a lifelong passion for introducing people to new, unfamiliar, and out of their comfort zone activities. We see the importance of exploring the outdoors in all ages and how this greatly changes your life both physically and psychologically. y as an adventure! No matter what your age or current fitness level, you can get the most out of every day by being active outdoors. Combining our knowledge of safety, proper technique, and gear will allow you to make the most out of your adventure and take your fitness to the next level. At Betty's Board Shop, we specialize in Standup paddleboard lessons, events and the supporting gear. If you are tired of traditional gym exercise programs, PaddleFit it is the perfect fit. Betty's Board Shop's philosophy is if you make it fun you win, physically, psychologically and socially. Stand up paddling is a fun way to spend time with your family and friends on the water and get your workout in at the same time. Along with being the first PaddleFit affiliate in Minnesota, North American Adventure and Gear & Betty's Board Shop's instructors are PaddleFit Level 3 and WPA (World Paddle Association) level one Certified. In the summer, you will find us mobile, offering classes in the northwest suburbs of Minneapolis, primarily Elk River, Big Lake and Zimmerman. Our retail location based in Zimmerman. When not on the water, we continue our adventures running, biking, hiking, camping, skiing and snow shoeing. What a great first week of classes!
In kids class we worked on pivot turns- an advanced way to turn very quickly, taking lots of balance.
Our adult fitness class also did great on all of the new exercises we threw their way.
