🎉💚 HAPPY BIRTHDAY, COACH MARISOL! 💚🎉

Today, we celebrate our fearless leader, the heart of EPIC, and someone who has spent the last 10 years giving so much of herself to the children in our organization. 🖤

Coach Marisol, there are children who will grow up and remember you as the person who believed in them before they believed in themselves. The person who pushed them because she saw what they were capable of. The person who made them feel loved, valued, and like they belonged.

That is a gift they will carry long after their last practice or competition.

For you, these have never been just athletes on a team. They are your kids. You celebrate their victories, feel their disappointments, worry about them, and love each one as your own. Your heart goes into every child who walks through our doors, and being their coach doesn’t end when practice does. 💚

Ten years of dedication means countless hours and sacrifices that most people will never see. It means showing up even when you’re tired, finding the strength to keep giving, and caring deeply about the children who depend on you. Behind everything you do is your desire to see them succeed, in this sport and in life.

EPIC is a family because you have poured your love into making it one. You have helped give our children a place to grow, find confidence, build friendships, and discover just how much they can achieve.

Today, we hope you feel surrounded by that same love. We hope you know how much you matter, how deeply you are appreciated, and how many lives are better because you are part of them.

Before the day is over, we want to take a moment to wish a very Happy Birthday to the backbone of our organization, Coach Luis! 🥳

There are truly not enough words to express how grateful we are for everything you do for EPIC. The countless hours, endless dedication, behind-the-scenes sacrifices, and heart you pour into this organization never go unnoticed.

You do so much more than coach athletes. You inspire them, challenge them, believe in them, and help them become the very best versions of themselves. Your passion for what you do is reflected in every athlete you encourage, every team you lead, and every experience you work tirelessly to create.

So much of what makes EPIC special is because of you. Your commitment to our athletes, families, and staff has helped shape this organization into the family it is today. 💚

💜 WHY WE COACH WEDNESDAY: COACH KALEIGH 💜

We asked Coach Kaleigh why she coaches for EPIC, and her answer says it all. 🥹✨

She coaches to create a place where her athletes feel safe, supported, valued, and BELIEVED IN. To help them see that they are capable of so much more than they think and to watch their confidence grow both inside and outside the gym.

She coaches to teach lessons that go far beyond cheer and dance — teamwork, discipline, resilience, responsibility, and perseverance. ⭐

She coaches to celebrate the little victories, the big accomplishments, and especially those moments when an athlete finally nails the skill they’ve worked so hard for. 💚

But most of all, she coaches because these athletes become so much more than just kids she coaches. They become memories, relationships, and a little piece of her heart.

Because years from now, they may not remember every routine, score, or competition… but she hopes they remember how their coaches made them feel. 🫶

And maybe the sweetest part?

“I coach because they inspire me just as much as I hope I inspire them.” 💜✨

💜 WHY WE COACH WEDNESDAY 💜

Meet Coach Heather! 🖤💙

This is Heather’s 2nd season coaching with EPIC, but like so many of our coaches… she started out as a parent hanging out in the lobby.

And then somehow… EPIC just gets you. There’s something about this organization that pulls you in and makes you want to be part of something bigger.

Heather loves getting to be front and center with the athletes, watching them grow, learn, gain confidence, and advance. Getting to see those little moments turn into BIG moments is pretty hard to beat. 💜

And honestly? When Heather first started with EPIC, coaching was not something she ever pictured herself doing.

But here she is… showing up, cheering them on, helping them grow, and absolutely LOVING it. 🥹

Sometimes you don’t realize you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be until you’re already there. ❤️

We’re pretty glad EPIC pulled Coach Heather in. 💜

3 seasons coaching Cosmic and somehow it just keeps getting better! 💜

Coach Amanda coaches because of the bonds she’s built with these girls, the amazing coaches and EPIC staff she gets to work alongside, and getting to watch her favorite athletes grow right in front of her. 🥹✨

She loves watching them learn new things, find their confidence, and express themselves while becoming stronger athletes AND people. 🫶🏼

And honestly… getting to be part of their journey is what it’s all about! 💜💙
