Lake Effect Boersen. I have been thinking over all the things that I wanted to say to this team. I think this is the right time.
First off, I want to thank all of you for this last year. I had the opportunity to get to know your families and your children as individuals and as ball players. As a first year head coach of travel ball, there were times where things were rough, but I had two amazing assistant coaches and family members that helped immensely make the season happen. 
With injuries and other things, I know that the record doesn’t reflect the growth that was made by these girls. Coach Brandon informed me we were one game under .500 for the spring/summer. This is amazing for a first year team. This is also a direct reflection of how hard these girls worked, given that several were not playing travel ball a year or two ago.
In the midst of how the team ended, I will just say, as Parents we do what we believe is the right thing for our children. I will never fault anyone for this. As everyone moves on and continues to pursue similar yet different things with the game. I will say one more time, thank you for your support and for raising the kids you have.
Our new family will run into many of you in the future, and I hope that there is no ill Will amongst anyone from this team to anyone else. I-wish you and your families the very best at everything. Unless of course you’re playing against my child for a 75 minute game. Hahaha. Seriously, you all have my number, and if there is anything that I can do for you, I would not hesitate.
