Not the night we were looking for to stay in the points race but Mason on Country Boys Deere made the night a little sweeter with a win!

The Country Boys Binder never found its way to the track after suffering an unknown breakage at the last hook but the Country Boys Deere picked up a win, a couple runners up and the Country Boys Cub made some tough passes on a tricky track! Overall, another good and fun night for the Country Boys Pulling Team!

The Rust n Dust steam & Gas Show did not disappoint for the Country Boys Pulling Team Thursday night.

Each tractor took home a WIN and collectively took home 3 runner-up finishes and 1 3rd place finish.

Jim Raak hooked to the track with this pull and unconfirmed, had the longest pull of the night, any class, at over 315 feet 😤

We’re a few days late but let’s just say that Thursday night was smiles all around!

The Country Boys Pulling Team took home 4 wins, 3 seconds, and a 3rd…AND Jack took home his 1st shingle! 💪🏻

The track was TRICKY to start the night but turned into an awesome power track as the night went on! BIG thanks to the Riverbend Steam & Gas Association for having us!

A BIG NIGHT FOR THE COUNTRY BOYS PULLING TEAM!

We took home some 1st’s but the biggest news of the night was we have a NEW driver on the team! Jackson Raak drove the Country Boys Deere for the 1st time in the Beginner Stock kids class and won both hooks. I think he might have the itch now!

Congrats Jackson on your 2 wins tonight!

2025 season, night 1 is in the books! Mixed results across the board but all in all, it was awesome to sling some dirt again!

Mason piloted the Country Boys Deere to a 2nd place finish, missing a win by 6 inches but he SENT IT, and had some damage that prevented him from coming back for his 2nd hook. But we’ll get it fixed up and he’ll be back!

Jim wheeled the Country Boys Cub to a 4th place finish in the 1st class but after some adjustments, he closed the gap on his 2nd run and brought home a 3rd place finish.

Jason got back in the saddle on the Country Boys Binder and drove it through the gate with his first hook, barely edging the rest of the strong class. In his 2nd hook, he never grabbed hold of the track and fell back to a 3rd place finish.

Lessons were learned and fun was had! In pulling, that’s all you can ask! We’ll be back to sling more dirt in 2 weeks!

2024 wasn’t what we had planned but we still slung a little dirt. Here’s to hoping 2025 gets us back on the track more
