She was taking care of everyone but herself.
On August 6th one year ago, Londa's dad passed.
Five days before that, she had started 75 Hard, determined to finally put herself first.
But grief doesn't wait for a program to finish.
What was supposed to be a 75-day challenge became something else entirely, and her own health quietly moved to the bottom of a very long list.
And that list was full of good things.
Caring for her mom.
Leaning into extended family.
Raising a family of 4 kids.
Serving faithfully in ministry every day.
Londa will tell you herself, she loves her life.
She wasn't complaining.
She was just sick and tired of being sick and tired.
On paper, she still looked fine. But she knew where the road led if she kept ignoring it.
So she prayed.
She asked God for a gym and a trainer that could work around a 5am schedule, so she could still make the most of her evenings with her family.
Not long after, she saw a post from a friend, sent one message, and found Ascend.
This time, she wasn't doing it alone.
Her husband has always been her biggest supporter, but now she has a whole 5am family standing next to her too.
A coach, a crew, andeople who show up before the sun does, week after week.
Her progress from end of May to mid July isn't just a number on a scale, though the numbers are real:
✅ Down 7.4 lbs
✅ Down 5.2% body fat
✅ Lost 12.3 lbs of fat
✅ Gained 2.9 lbs of muscle
The real result is this: Londa isn't staring at an app by herself anymore, white-knuckling her way through a plan with no one in her corner.
She has people, she has a place, and she not doing it alone anymore.
If you've been pouring yourself into everyone else and quietly wondering when it'll be your turn, we'd love to be part of your story too.
