🇺🇸 Some dates live on a calendar. September 11th lives in the heart of America. 🇺🇸

Twenty-five years ago, Americans woke up to an ordinary Tuesday morning. By the end of that day, our country—and countless families—would never be the same.

We watched in disbelief. We cried together. We prayed together. And in our darkest hours, we stood together as Americans.

Today, we remember a day that forever changed America.

We remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives that were taken far too soon. We remember the families who said goodbye that morning without knowing it would be the last time. We remember the firefighters, police officers, first responders, and ordinary people who ran toward danger to help complete strangers. We remember the heroes of Flight 93 who fought back, knowing the sacrifice they were making.

But today, we also want to remember and say thank you to every man and woman who answered the call in the days, months, and years that followed. To those who served our country, fought for our freedom, and especially those who made the ultimate sacrifice — we owe you a debt we can never fully repay. ❤️🤍💙

Twenty-five years later, it can be easy to get caught up in everything that is wrong, everything we wish were different, and everything we think we don’t have.

Today is a reminder to look around and recognize just how much we do have.

We woke up this morning in a country where we are free. We have the freedom to raise our families, chase our dreams, worship, speak, work, travel, and live our lives because generations of brave Americans have been willing to stand up and protect those freedoms.

We are incredibly blessed. And we should never take that for granted.

We also pray we never forget the America we saw in the days following September 11th. There were no strangers. There weren’t sides. There were simply Americans helping Americans. Flags flew everywhere. People hugged a little tighter, prayed a little harder, and loved their country a little deeper.

May we always remember the lives lost.
May we always honor those who ran toward the danger.
May we always be grateful for those who have fought and died protecting us.
And may we never forget how fortunate we are to call this country home. 🇺🇸

God bless the families who still carry the pain of September 11th.
God bless those who serve and have served.
And God bless America. ❤️🤍💙
