Had a few more guide trips here lately and the fishing here is still great, and I want to Thank Them for hiring me to take them out. I took day to go crappie fishing and Susan went with me, she doesn't crappie fish so she fished for bass, I had 25 crappie and 3 1/2 hours and Susan had 9 bass, 1 7lbs, 3 over 5lbs, the others around 3 lbs each. Anybody thinking about coming to Fish Falcon this would be the week to come down, light winds and not over 100...Hope everyone is doing well with the virus..Stay Safe....Fish On!

January and February was really tough fishing here on Falcon Lake, but by March 1st this lake has really turned around, Bass Fishing is excellent and so is the Crappie Fishing, been pretty busy around here quite of few people down here fishing, anybody looking to catch fish need to come on down to Falcon Lake. Fishing has been pretty tough down here at Falcon, Bass Champs were down here last weekend with 107 teams and there was only 3 five fish limits that weighed in, took right at 28 pounds to win. I got a call from a local guide Jay with High Stakes Bassin and wanted to go over to Sugar Lake in Mexico for a couple of days of fishing, no pictures from the first day, our five best fish weighed 27 pounds, and our second day was a different story, first fish of the day was pushing 11 pounds, the next fish was pushing 13 pounds, which Jay caught and it was his personal best, we caught around 24 fish in 6 1/2 hours, 4 lbs was the smallest fish of the day, we were culling 7 pounders for our 5 best fish, and they were knocking on the door for 48 pounds. Hopefully the fishing will pick up here the water temperature is coming up and hopefully Falcon can start producing these kind of fish again. I want to Thank Jay for inviting me. Fish On!

Have not been keeping up with facebook at all lately so thought I would take some time to post some of the pictures of some clients that I have taken out the past few months. Things have been pretty slow down here since the virus hopefully everyone is staying safe and we get out of this situation pretty soon. I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone that came down and fished, I will be posting another post after this with some Big Fish. Fish On!

It's been a long time since I have posted anything, Susan and I stayed up on our property in Brownwood most of November, December and part of January, doing a little hunting, started fishing a little bit in January thru February but not much to talk about, pretty dang tough, March fishing started picking up and now into April it's on FIRE, went out April 2nd had 60 plus fish, 20 around the 5 pound mark, most of them were 3 to 4 pounds, BIG FISH of the day was a whopping 12.42, Susan and I went back out on Friday within 5 hours we landed 31, most of them 3 to 4 pounds, no giants...A few days ago we went out Crappie fishing and we had our limits, a bunch of them were 2 lb plus... I am sharing some of my pictures over the past few months...I would like to Thank Everyone that came down and Fished with me....I would like to take this time to tell everyone to be safe and wise during this tough time we are having here in the USA with this Corona Virus 🙏….Fish On!

My Folks came down this weekend dad wanted to go out crappie fishing so he would have some fish to eat..we caught a bucket full 30 within a few hours..weather was beautiful no wind started in the 50’s got up into the 70’s..I hope when I am his age I can still get out there and fish...Fish On!

I had a family stop by the park that was from South Carolina last week on a mission to see the country they took a year off to travel around the United States with their kids, and dad Willie wanted to take his boy John out to celebrate his Senior year, we ended up catching a few black bass weighing 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 pounds, Willie lost a few at the boat, we went to some brush piles to catch some crappie so they would have something for supper, I did not get the chance to find out if they cooked them, hopefully they ate all of them, John even caught a 2 1/2 pound Tilapia we cleaned it to hopefully Willie liked it, he wanted to try a fresh Tilapia, I added a few pictures of the sunrise that morning, it was the morning after the cold front you could not find a prettier site, I want to Thanks Willie, John and the rest of the Family for stopping by and staying with us, and getting the chance to show them Falcon Lake...Till we meet again...Fish On!

I want to thank Jay he is a local guide here on Falcon to, he had a 2 boat trip and he used me for the 2nd boat, I had Hugh and Phil for the day we winded up having 18 fish the biggest one of the day was 4 plus, had a couple of good ones on but did not boat them. I want to Thank them both for a great day on the water...Fish On!

Took out a repeat customer Terry and Jeff for a day of fishing, a little tougher day, I believe we boated 8 fish, we lost several that jumped off at the boat, I also had one pull a rod out of my hand, and Terry had a good one on but did not get to see that one either, but they both ended up catching some nice fish off the spots I took them to, I hope to see them back at the end of January for another outing, I want to Thank them Both till we see you again....Fish On!

Lost 2 trips this past week due to the rain and cold weather, have not been out on the water for about 9 days, so Susan and I went out today for about 3 hours looking for some fish for my 2 trips coming up this week, pretty dang slow but we did wind up catching 4 fish and 1 pretty nice one 8.2 lbs, swim bait and spinner bait, let you know how the 2 trips this week turn out... Fish On!
