It’s Opening Day!

Today marks the start of our Muskingum County Family YMCA T-Ball season, and we couldn’t be more excited! We’re looking forward to a great season filled with big swings, new friendships, lots of laughs, and memories that will last long after the final inning.

Our Day Campers had a wild adventure yesterday!

We were excited to welcome for a hands-on educational experience featuring turtles, tortoises, lizards, and snakes! Campers had the opportunity to learn fascinating facts about these amazing animals, ask questions, and get an up-close look at some incredible reptiles.

Experiences like these spark curiosity and create unforgettable summer memories. Thank you to Realm of the Reptile for sharing your knowledge and passion with our campers!

Last night was week two of our Kids Art Program at the Muskingum YMCA, and these young artists are already growing so much!

It’s been awesome watching them get more comfortable, try new ideas, and show off even more creativity each week. We’re so proud of the work they’re putting in and can’t wait to see what they create next.

Nerf or Nothing!

The kids went all out during our first Nerf Wars, bringing plenty of energy and excitement to the Muskingum County Family YMCA . Even better, it was great to see them making new friends, working together, and sharing lots of laughs throughout the evening.

“With unexpected medical bills piling up, there was no way I could afford summer camp for my two boys. I dreaded the thought of them stuck inside all day while I worked, missing out on the kind of summer every child should have. Then I found out about the Y’s scholarships. The Y made it possible for my kids to spend their days outside playing and making new friends. Every evening they came home exhausted, in the best way, full of stories and new camp songs. The Y didn’t just give my kids a summer of fun, they gave me peace of mind when I needed it most.” Liz, mother of Dean and Alex.

What a great start to our Kids Art Program at the Muskingum County Family YMCA!

Tonight, our young artists brought their turtles to life. Every turtle had its own unique personality, and it was so much fun seeing the kids' ideas come together.

We're proud of all the hard work they put in and can't wait to welcome them back next week for another evening of creativity and fun.
