Oh my gourd! The Spooky Sprint 5K & 1-Mile Family Fun Run is creeping up on us... only 1 month away🎃👟

✨ LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA is a FREE 12-week program designed to help cancer survivors regain strength, improve confidence, increase energy, and connect with others who understand the journey.

What an amazing night! We danced, sang, smiled, and most importantly, came together to support our community. 🥰

Together, we raised $500 for flood relief in Roseville and Crooksville, in addition to the generous supply donations provided. 🙌🏻

Thank you to everyone who donated, danced with us, shared our posts, and supported this effort. Your generosity truly makes a difference! 💕

Join us in an upbeat, fun, dance fitness class fundraiser to benefit the flood victims of Roseville and Crooksville! 💃🏻

Date: Wednesday September 2, 2026 5:30pm, studio 2.

Description: 60 minute dance fitness class

Hosted by: Lacey Geyer, Anne Agin, & Becky Weir

Cost: donation (monetary or disaster relief supplies).
All monetary donations will be collected and submitted to the Muskingum county community foundation. All supply donations will be delivered with the YMCA’s item collection.

Bedding (must be new)
Towels (must be new)
Camp Chairs
Pet Supplies
Non Perishable Food
Personal Care Items

This event is open to the public. Tell all your friends!
Non members can sign up for Free at the front desk.

Exciting news!

A $1 million investment in the future of our West Licking YMCA! 🎉

We’re incredibly grateful to Illuminate USA for a transformational $1 million gift, the largest corporate gift to our expansion campaign.

Their support brings our campaign total to $4.2 million, surpassing our original $4 million goal, and our new gymnasium will proudly be named the Illuminate USA Gymnasium.

And we’re not done yet. Additional support will help make even more development possible at our West Licking campus.

💦 WE’RE BACK IN THE WATER!

Our pools officially reopened at 5:00 a.m. this morning, and before we get too far into enjoying that beautiful blue water again, we want to recognize the people who helped make it happen.

A HUGE thank you goes to our incredible Lifeguard and Maintenance teams for all of their hard work during this year’s annual shutdown. From deep cleaning and scrubbing to repairs, painting, equipment maintenance, and tackling the projects that simply can’t happen while our pools are open, a lot of work gets packed into those couple of weeks!

And then there are the parts of shutdown most people never see, like our Aquatics Director staying overnight at the Y to oversee the long process of refilling the pools and getting everything safely back up and running in time to welcome our early-morning swimmers. 🌙➡️🌅

There is so much that happens behind the scenes to operate and care for an aquatic facility, and we couldn’t provide the clean, safe, and welcoming pools our community enjoys without an incredible team willing to put in the work.

To our Lifeguards, Maintenance team, and Aquatics staff: THANK YOU! ❤️ Your hard work is quite literally what keeps our Y swimming.

The doors opened at 5:00 a.m. and the water is waiting. Welcome back! 🏊‍♀️💦
