⭐ Meet the Teacher: Whitney Lewis ⭐

If you’ve been part of Movement on Main for any length of time, you know that Whitney is so much more than our owner and director, she is the heart behind so much of what makes our studio feel like home. 💙

Whitney teaches Ballet, Contemporary, and Acro, and she loves helping dancers discover not only what they are capable of on the dance floor, but also who they are becoming along the way. She especially loves watching students grow in confidence, form meaningful friendships, find their own voice, and develop a love for dance that stays with them long after they leave the studio.

One of the most rewarding parts of being a teacher for Whitney is watching her students step onto the stage and shine. She also treasures staying connected with Movement on Main alumni and seeing where their journeys take them. For Whitney, the relationships built through dance are just as meaningful as the skills learned in the classroom.

Whitney holds a BFA in Dance from Ohio University and is certified in the ABT National Training Curriculum, Progressive Ballet Technique, and Acrobatic Arts. Her continued dedication to education and training helps her bring both knowledge and passion into everything she does at the studio.

Outside of Movement on Main, Whitney is a wife and mom. She is married to her husband, Brady, and they have four children, Josie, Walter, Eleanor, and Owen. When she isn’t at the studio, you can often find Whitney enjoying the outdoors and making memories with her family. 💙

We are incredibly grateful for the vision, leadership, and heart Whitney pours into Movement on Main. From creating opportunities for dancers to grow, to celebrating their accomplishments, to cheering them on through the challenges, she has helped create a place where dancers can feel supported, inspired, and encouraged to become the very best version of themselves.

Thank you, Whitney, for believing in our dancers, investing in their futures, and creating a studio community where so many students and families feel like they belong. We are so lucky to have you leading the way! ⭐

⭐Meet the Teacher: Kady Winland! ⭐

Kady teaches Ballet, Acro, Jazz, and Contemporary for our Kindergarten and up dancers!

As a former Movement on Main student herself, Kady has a special connection to the studio. She danced here from 2011 to 2023 and has been teaching ever since! One of her favorite parts of teaching is getting to watch her students build friendships, make memories, and grow in confidence as dancers. Seeing how much her students grow throughout the years is one of the most rewarding parts of what she does.

Outside of the studio, Kady works as a paraprofessional at National Road Elementary. When she’s not working or teaching, she loves spending her free time thrifting and antiquing!

We love Miss Kady and are SO happy to have her as part of our team!💜

⭐Meet the Teacher: Tiffini Logsdon! ⭐

Tiffini teaches our Dance with Me, Tiny Tots, and Mini Movers classes and is also an instructor for our Fine Arts Academy! She loves working here at Movement on Main because of the community we’ve built and getting to watch our tiniest dancers grow, gain confidence, and fall in love with dance. 💗

This year marks Tiffini’s 5th year with Movement on Main! When she’s not at the studio, you can find her spending time with her family, gardening, and finding new adventures wherever she can!

We are so thankful to have Tiffini as part of our Movement on Main family! 💙
