As we close the curtain on our 15th Annual Recital, my heart is full of gratitude.
I am so thankful for every student, family member, volunteer, staff member, teacher, and supporter who helped make this recital such a success.
To our dancers: Thank you for your hard work, dedication, and passion. Watching you shine on stage and share your love of dance is the reason we do what we do.
To our families: Thank you for trusting us with your children, supporting them through rehearsals, costume changes, practice at home, and countless trips to the studio. Your encouragement and commitment make all the difference.
To our staff and volunteers: Thank you for the many hours spent planning, organizing, teaching, backstage managing, loading in, cleaning up, and ensuring every detail came together. This production would not be possible without your talent, teamwork, and dedication.
Fifteen years ago, Movement on Main began with a dream to create a place where students could grow not only as dancers, but as confident, creative, and compassionate individuals. This weekend was a beautiful reminder of how it all started and the dance family that has grown over the years. It was especially moving to see our alumni perform on stage again!
A special thank you to Ms. Morgan, who has been a lifelong dance friend. We started out dancing together as young dancers, sharing countless hours in the studio. Over the years, she has been by my side through every challenge, every celebration, every success, and every moment in between. She has helped shape Movement on Main every step of the way. Dance friends are forever!
We would love to see your recital photos in the comments and celebrate your dancer. From their first recital to senior recital we are so proud of each and every student who graced the stage this weekend!
Thank you for being part of our dance family and for making our 15th recital one to remember. I am honored to share this journey with you and can’t wait to do it all again next season!
