I would like to give a little shout out to our kids that competed this weekend in the Grappling industries tournament in Scottsdale, Arizona. Addie, Jaden, Oscar, and Tessie. We are all very proud of you guys for your performances. I’d like to give a thank you to the parents that were able to get their children up to the tournament. I know it’s a long drive of three hours. I would also like to give a loud shout out to GT ALARM. GT ALARM has been sponsoring our kids tournaments for the past six months. Not only did they pay for four registrations this weekend, but the owner Brianna has given us walkie-talkies to keep us connected at the tournaments with the coaches, what else could we ask for also two tournaments ago Brianna also had sandwiches for our competitors! Again, congratulations to everyone that competed and thank you to our sponsor. We will see you at the tournament this weekend in Phoenix IBJJF.

Announcement! Starting Feb 25 Saturday morning at 8am till 845am, Carlson Gracie Yuma will be starting their “little bulldogs” beginners class for 4-5 year olds. It’s challenging to teach Jiu Jitsu for 4-5 year-olds but they do need to start somewhere. A lot of the beginner kids don’t know how to roll over their heads, roll backwards or fall properly. This class will cover all the very beginner basics of body movements and formalities to get them ready for our beginners class. Space is limited if you’re interested just message me.
