Weld Like A Girl

Weld Like A Girl Weld Like A Girl is an empowerment project using welding and creativity to boost self-esteem and whole-person wellness. Group & individual classes available.

While we create a safe space for girls and women, gentlemen (not jerks) may join us. The majority of our classes are co-ed. While it is rare, if a class is for women only it will be CLEARLY marked. Additionally, most classes are appropriate for children typically 8 and up, although we make exceptions for mature younger children. Two obvious classes where children are not invited: Welding & Wine Ta

sting (right?!?) and the Couples Class. :)

Please wear jeans and closed-toe shoes when attending any of our welding and/or cutting classes. All safety gear (welding jackets, welding gloves, welding helmets and safety glasses) are provided. If you have your own welding gear and would prefer to use it, you are welcome to do so. We have a water cooler with filtered cold and hot water on the premises. We keep light refreshments on hand for all classes.

Weld Like A Girl®️along with a the help of several veterans, sons of veterans, and granddaughters of veterans, built a memorial tree for the AZ State Veteran Home- Yuma, AZ.

The tree is constructed from various metals and tools. The leaves will be dog tags with the name and military branch of veterans who passed at the facility. It will be a permanent installation; names of recently passed veterans will be added each Memorial Day.

The unveiling will be on Wednesday, June 24 at 1pm at the AZ State Veteran’s Home- Yuma (6051 E 34th Street, Yuma, AZ). All are welcome.

3 veterans, 4 adult-ish children of veterans & 1 great-grandchild of a veteran… together created a memorial tree to honor those who passed at the State of Arizona Veteran’s Home-Yuma. This mixed metal, multiprocess tribute to the men and women who served our country will be displayed on Memorial Day but will be officially unveiled on June 24, 2026.

All 6 branches of the U.S. Military are represented as branches on the tree. There is a copper ribbon on each limb tying into a larger copper feature on the trunk, signifying we all come together for one common purpose. ❤️💙

On a warm afternoon in (the sunniest place in earth ☀️), 10 adventurous people took on a new challenge… and a scene. 🌵 How awesome was this?!?

Super proud of these baddies, ages 9-85! 😎 Can’t wait to see what they create next!

So many classes lately that we are tardy posting. We’ll start from recent to not. 🤪

This Prickly Pear Cactus class was fantastic!!! Two families and one baddie personal trainer! 💪 Everyone learned, welded and grew as they explored the world of hot and also genuine, bonafide, petrified posse 😎 (Who knew 100+ year old horse p**p doesn’t stink?!?)

This was an absolute honor and privilege. Thank you Josh Sprinkle, Miller Electric and Cyberweld for the opportunity to support a veteran. ❤️🤍💙

Another highlight from our Appearance on Military Makeover was this metal art flag made by Shanen from Weld Like A Girl! The flag is made from regular and stainless steel. Over time the regular steel will rust red to resemble the stripes of the American flag. The 50 stars on the flag are made from shotgun shells, an incredible piece of art that honors the military's 250th anniversary!
