16 SC del Sol Yuma players have earned their spots on SC del Sol MLS NEXT teams, and this weekend their season begins.
We are incredibly proud of these boys, but this is about more than 16 players. It represents what we are building in Yuma.
Opportunities exist at different clubs. Our responsibility is bigger than simply providing access to those opportunities. Our job is to make sure our players are ready when they arrive.
That means experienced coaches. A clear game model. High standards. Competitive training. An environment where players are challenged technically, tactically, physically, and mentally.
Because getting an opportunity at the next level is one thing.
Being prepared to stay there, compete there, and succeed there is another.
Whether the next step is MLS NEXT, college soccer, a professional academy, or eventually a national-team environment, we want our players walking into that opportunity prepared and confident.
These 16 players are proof of what can happen when talented players, committed families, quality coaching, and the right environment come together.
