Important dates for the upcoming school year. Of particular importance, our tryouts will be held on Oct 13th (after Columbus Day) and we will likely have training sessions during Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks. We’re excited about the upcoming school year…especially the soccer season. ⚽️🐝

Please Welcome Coach Alan Lescalleet to the Yulee High School Boys Soccer Family!

Coach Lescalleet brings more than three decades of coaching and teaching experience, including rebuilding Brunswick High School’s soccer program, winning two Maryland State Championships, earning multiple Coach of the Year honors, coaching at the collegiate level, and being inducted into the Frederick County Soccer Hall of Fame. Even after retiring and moving to Florida, his passion for the game never faded, as he continued mentoring local coaches and developing young players.

From Coach Acker, “One lesson I’ve learned as a leader is that it’s okay not to be the smartest person in the room. In fact, the best leaders surround themselves with people who challenge them, complement their strengths, and make the entire program better. I’m grateful that Alan has chosen to be part of what we’re building at Yulee.”

Coach Lescalleet’s knowledge, humility, and passion for player development will have a lasting impact on our players, coaches, and this program.

When former players choose to come back, it says something special about a program. It means the lessons, relationships, and experiences they gained were impactful enough to inspire them to invest in those who follow. It speaks to tradition, pride, and a commitment to leaving the program better than they found it.

That’s why we’re excited to announce the addition of Assistant Coach Ronnie Acker to the Yulee High School Boys Soccer coaching staff.

Coach Acker returns to the same program where he competed as a Varsity player, bringing with him coaching experience, a deep understanding of the game, and an exceptional ability to analyze tactics beyond his years. Just as importantly, his calm and steady presence on the sideline provides the perfect balance as we work to build a culture centered around unity, accountability, and growth.

On a personal note from the Head Coach, Ronnie represents the third generation of soccer coaches in the Acker family and he is extremely proud to share the sideline with his son. One of the biggest compliments a coach can get is seeing former players turn into coaches to help spread the love of this beautiful game and when it’s a father son duo like this; it’s special.

Yulee Soccer continues to be a place that develops leaders who want to give back.

Here’s a great resource that will help players who are interested in playing HS sports next year. Please don’t wait to get this done and remember our AD and Athletic Trainer are requiring an EKG done as well.

This is a Saturday we planned on having a session. Please make the latest appointment possible.
