Hello parents and students! I am having an end of season get together party at my house this Saturday, October 29th from 2-5pm. Address will be posted below. Please come for food, games, and just a good time to celebrate a good season and a great group of girls! I have a pool also, however it will be cold since it’s not heated so swimming not recommended lol feel free to bring any snacks, games, balls, or just yourself! I look forward to seeing you all ❤️

Thank you parents and students for the great JV volleyball year ❤️ I have enjoyed getting to know my 19 girls and you also as parents. Here are some photos from Saturdays tournament. The girls fought hard for their spot this year and I couldn’t be prouder. We may not have won it all, however we grew as a team and these girls were such a blessing to me. Thank you parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and any other family that supported, helped out, watched our games, and allowed your child to play. We couldn’t have done it without you ☺️

I am having a get together at my house as an end of season party on Saturday, October 29th from 2-5. I will hopefully be in to drop off paperwork to the school for more information, however message me directly if you would like to know more details. Thanks! Good morning parents! It’s tournament day ☺️ please have your child to Old Planks Gym by no later then 12pm today if not 11:30am for the 12:30 game. I will be there at 10 to watch the games before us. Please make sure your player has all their equipment and no jewelry on. Also a water bottle or two. I have a wedding to go too today, so if we progress past the first game, Assistant Coach Michelle will be stepping in for me. It has been a pleasure and honor coaching these girls this season. I love them to death ❤️ see you all there!

Ok parents update from this morning: our game is confirmed for 12:30pm on Saturday. The ladies have to be there by 12. I am going to be at the Old Plank Gym by 10am to watch the games before ours along with Coach Holly and Michelle. If your child needs a ride, they will either have to arrive at the gym to leave by 9am or catch a ride with another parent if they don’t wanna be there that long. I NEED to know how your child is going to get there since we will not meeting at the gym before unless we all decide to leave at 9am. Please text, message me here, or comment to let me know! Hello parents and students. This may be a longer post, but here is the update for you after last nights game.
Due to our win last night against Brunswick, we kicked them out of the tournaments and we are officially going regardless if we win or lose tomorrow vs Southside. We did have one game to reschedule vs Crossroads and it was decided that Tuesday VARSITY ONLY will play their team. The JV team did forfeit to us so we have that win as well. Now again, regardless if we win or lose tomorrow, we will go to tournaments which is this Saturday the 15th at Old Plank in Jacksonville. If we do win tomorrow, however it will give us a higher seat. Now, I have the game brackets and times, however we will not know which game we will play until we either win or lose tomorrow night. However, the first game for tournaments starts at 10am so we could leave the school as early as 8:30-9am. Please beware as it could be an all day event there. The final game does not play until 5:30pm if everything goes according to schedule. The girls could potentially play 3 games that day if they go all the way. Please make sure they have all their equipment with them (knee pads, clean uniform, undershirt, sneakers, water, and no jewelry), please be sure they have money for food and water potentially as it could be a long day, and to have them get plenty of rest for the long day. WE WILL HAVE PRACTICE FRIDAY ALSO. I am so proud of the effort and sportsmanship these ladies displayed on the court this year and I have been honored to coach them. They have come so far and worked so hard for this spot at tournaments. Please pray for us as we have a busy week ahead still and I know the girls will be tired. Thanks!

Here is my note to all parents and players regarding tonight’s game.
At the beginning of the game, I knew I was going to bench my normal starters and give my second string a chance to play. Minutes before the game started, I was informed that our home game against Crossroads was not going to get rescheduled for JV, only Varsity. That will not go against us, it will just be like that game never existed. Because I had originally planned to play my little ones in the game against Crossroads and was waiting for it to happen, I decided that regardless of how the game went, I was going to play them in the second game. They have been waiting all year to play, and I like for everyone to have a chance to play at least once and my older girls knew this. I have told them many times, them not being played or being taken out of a game is not a punishment, I’m just giving others a chance to play since I am coaching 19 girls this year. Once the other coach realized what I was doing, she put in her little ones as well. That team has not won a game all season, it was their last game, and they had lost to a team (I won’t say which) 25-0. The coach came to me crying after the game, thanking me and so did most of the girls. The younger ones were very happy also and I saw their confidence level go up. I know a lot of girls and parents are concerned about tournaments coming up, and as I reassured the girls, I am not worried and if I was, I would not have done this. I don’t know the other teams records, but if I had to guess, I think we would be seated 4. Tonight, sportsmanship and good playing won and I again am sorry for the parents who didn’t understand this, but that’s why I’m creating this post. I understand if I get heat for this, I already have, however, if any parent or child has any questions or would like to talk to me further, I would be happy to talk with you. Thank you for letting me coach your girls. I look forward to seeing them at practice tomorrow. Thanks

Hello all! Congrats, we have completed all away games save for tournaments! Only have 3, hopefully 4 games left! We are winding down our season and I wanted to say a big thank you for all the encouragement you give to these ladies and myself. We couldn’t have gotten through the season without you!
Tonight we have a home game vs Victory. I will be playing my second string tonight, so be prepared to come watch and see how far these girls have come ☺️ we are still looking to see if we can reschedule that game against Heritage Christian Academy so stay tuned for that. Thanks!

Hello all! So due to unforeseen circumstances, last nights game was canceled so instead we scrimmaged. The Athletic Team is trying to reschedule both that game and Southside from last week. Because next week is the last week before playoffs, we have a limited amount of days we can reschedule those games. Please be prepared in case we have a game on very short notice. Good thing is they are both home games.
We do have our last away game tonight against Heritage Christian Academy in Brunswick at 4pm. Please have your child to the school gym by 2pm for a 2:15 departure. This will be a little bit of a harder game so be prepared to watch these ladies fight for the win! Thanks! ☺️
