After searching for only 8 minutes, we located this buck approximately 600 yards from where it was shot. This buck was located alive, but struggling. We let the hunter know where he was at and he went back the next morning and was found.. still alive. Somehow this guy made it through the night and decided to work his way another 800 yards from where we found him. Thankfully this big guy was able to be recovered to close out a great hunt.

We recently received a call from a hunter who knew he didn’t make the best shot, but needed confirmation whether the animal had expired or not. After a short search, we located the buck and confirmed the shot placement and determined it was not a lethal shot.

This incredible technology proves, once again, a valuable resource for hunters to let them know the situation all while leaving the existing terrain and other wildlife untouched and undisturbed.

🦌 Off To A Fast Start This Weekend 🦌

This buck, shot last night at last light, decided to make his way into the creek before expiring. After the hunter tracked blood himself, the trail went dry and he reached out to us for help. We showed up this morning and had this one located in about 20 minutes!

🦌 This recovery has quite the story behind it! 🦌

When we were discussing the hunting scenario with this hunter, he told us that he knew he has made a good shot on this buck at pretty close range. He did the right thing and waited a while before beginning his own recovery process. Not a single drop of blood was found by the hunter that evening or the next morning when he went back to search again.. all he had to show for it was the last half of his arrow that had broken off.

This buck had crossed a creek and tried to hide himself under a tree before expiring. Even more weird was the buck was found with the entry wound to the ground, and there was not a single drop of blood to be found.

This goes to show you that while you may not have any blood, it’s always safe to exhaust all resources to try to confirm the situation and recover your deer.

🦌 Another Successful Recovery 🦌

This big buck was shot 24 hours before we were on site to find him. After only about 15 minutes of flying, we very clearly picked up his heat signature and found him buried in very thick brush and grass. The hunter told us he had to have walked right by him during his own search efforts, but it was no problem for the incredible technology these drones posses.

It’s always a good day whenever we get to help someone locate a buck they’ve worked so hard to harvest.
