Yucaipa American at the Little League World Series!?
Over the weekend former YVALL President Ron Roe and his wife Toni represented Yucaipa American at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA. The couple watched the US and International Final games Saturday plus the Consolation and Championship games on Sunday.
Besides being league president in Yucaipa, Ron was a volunteer coach, team manager, All Star manager/coach and spent more than 20 years umpiring in various leagues throughout California. With a lifetime of experiences Ron could hardly contain his enthusiasm for Little League saying that being at the LLWS this weekend was, without a doubt, the best of his life. “If you have not been, you’ve got to go!”
