Been a while and don't even know if anyone will read this ..... But just wanted to let you know that Bob Brown has passed away this past Saturday .... I am at a loss for words .... Rest in Peace Bob .............

thank you to Jimmy Jean for entrusting me to continue with his hard efforts bringing the All Stars back to the great organization it has become !! with the continued efforts of all of our members we will continue to grow and prosper !!

North State All Stars will be bowling at Orland Bowl November 17-18 .....THIS WILL BE THE LAST EVENT FOR A WHILE as we need to figure out how to get more bowlers .....this is a trend that's happening all over bowling in Northern California ....We...as well as other tournament clubs used to draw 50 60 entries now down in the 20s-30s .....I've seen it happen in Rocklin , Sacramento, Red Bluff , Redding, Chico to their events as well ....doubles events that have been going on for over 20 years have had their numbers drop to where they have been discontinued altogether ....I've got to do some research as to the number of over 180 averages in our drawing area and figure what it will take to get them to compete ....I am open to any feedback as I want this club to continue ....hope to see you all in Orland ....Andre always puts in a lot of work for us .....

NORTH STATE ALL STARS TOURNAMENT FOR W**D THIS WEEKEND HAS BEEN POSTPONED ....PEOPLE IN THE NORTH STATE HAVE MORE IMPORTANT THINGS TO WORRY ABOUT THAN WHICH BALL TO USE ...OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS GO OUT TO ALL OUR FRIENDS IN THE NORTH STATE AND HOPE ALL ARE SAFE .....

Rick Yuhnke took it to Pat Young in an all Chico final match to win the May All Stars event at Orchard Lanes ....other top finishers wer Joe Salvemini and Jeff Harville ......next tournament in at Java Lanes in Corning June 9-10 ..Saturday squad at 3 pm and Sundays 9 AM and Noon ..fresh oil each qualifying squad ...........see you in Corning !

The "Beast " no match for Moss ! Ron Mossbarger defeated Rick Bertrand the final match to add to his All Stars victory total ...Score were as advertised as it took under entering average to make the cut ...but Ron found a way to be consistent throughout the day .....others in the final four were Ryan Hartung and ....wait for it .....Richard Martinez .....Thanks to Hoblit Motors for their support of our club ! see you in Chico May 20

Steve Cordova makes it 2 in a row with his victory over Stan Gryczko in the title match at Country Bowl in Redding this past month ...Steve struck out forcing Stan to do the same and it was not to be for Stan ...congratulations Steve on your victory ! next up is a trip to the "Beast " aka Riverside Lanes in Colusa April 7-8 ...Saturday squad at 4 PM and Sunday 9 AM and Noon ..bring all your skills to this one !

Joe Salvemini defeats Jill Creamer to repeat as Jimmy Jean Memorial Tournament champion ...Joe tore apart the Winding Road Lane Pattern at a 230 clip ..and pretty much kept up that scoring pace all day ...it wasn't as easy for everyone as it took rolling like 5 pins over your average to make the match play ...Tom Taum found 37-38 to his liking rolling 300 in the finals ...great bowling .....other top four finishers were Taum and Stan Gryczko .....
