☀️ It’s another hot one today, Jr. Miner families! ☀️

We know many of you are keeping an eye on the temperatures, and we want to assure everyone that player safety is always our number one priority.

Our coaches and board members will continue to follow all CA state guidelines and heat safety recommendations, including:

* Frequent water breaks
* Rest periods in the shade
* Monitoring athletes for signs of heat-related illness
* Adjusting activities as needed based on conditions

Please help us by sending your athlete with plenty of water (and we mean a ton), lightweight athletic clothing, and a can-do attitude.

We’re excited to see everyone out there tonight and appreciate your trust as we work hard to keep our kids safe while helping them grow and prepare for the season. See you at the field!

🎟️ 2026 Yreka Jr. Miners Season Passes Are Here!

Want to skip the gate line and avoid digging around for cash every Saturday? We’ve got you covered!

For $35, you can purchase a 2026 Season Pass that’s valid for all Yreka Jr. Miners HOME football games.

A few important notes:

* Valid for home games only

* Does NOT include the Cheer Qualifier or any Playoff games

* Costs the same as paying $7 at each of our five home games — we’re not charging you extra just because you’re paying ahead!

As an added bonus, Season Pass holders will have their own entrance line, allowing you to skip the long cash line and get into the games faster.

And for those who prefer to pay at the gate, we’ve joined the 21st century… Venmo will now be accepted at our home games too! 🎉

☀️🏈 Jr. Miner Summer Reminder! 🏈☀️

As these temperatures continue to climb, here are a few things that will help your athlete have a successful camp:

💧 Bring more water than you think you’ll need.
🧢 Wear lightweight athletic clothing.
👟 Cleats are great if you have them, but tennis shoes are perfectly okay too!
🍎 Have your athlete eat a good snack before arriving.
😴 Get plenty of rest the night before.

Our coaches are keeping a close eye on the heat and will continue taking frequent water and rest breaks to keep everyone safe.

🏈⛏️ DAY 1 IN THE BOOKS! ⛏️🏈

What a great way to kick off our Voluntary Skills & Conditioning Camp!

We had OVER 70 kids out on the field tonight for Day 1—nearly half of our entire football program! The energy, hustle, and excitement were incredible.

We’re still missing quite a few of our baseball athletes (go finish that season strong! ⚾), so we’re even more excited to see what our numbers look like over the next couple of weeks.

The coaches were impressed with the effort and attitudes they saw tonight, and we can’t wait to continue building on it.

Remember, camp continues Monday through Friday from 5:30–7:30 PM through July 2nd at the Yreka High School Baseball Field. It’s completely voluntary, and we’d love to see even more Jr. Miners out there tomorrow!

🏈☀️ VOLUNTARY FOOTBALL SKILLS & CONDITIONING CAMP STARTS TODAY! ☀️🏈

Today’s the day! We hope to see all of our football athletes out at the Yreka High School Baseball Field from 5:30–7:30 PM.

Just a reminder:
✅ This camp is completely VOLUNTARY and is NOT mandatory.
✅ If your athlete already has cleats, please wear them.
✅ If you don’t have cleats yet, tennis shoes are perfectly fine!
✅ Bring LOTS and LOTS of water to stay hydrated. 💧💧💧

🌡️ With the hot temperatures, athlete safety is our top priority. We’ll be taking frequent water and rest breaks throughout camp to help prevent heat-related illnesses.

Don’t forget to bring your completed physical if you haven’t already!

We can’t wait to get back on the field and kick off an awesome season together! ❤️💛🖤⛏️

We’re excited to kick off our Voluntary Football Skills & Conditioning Camp!

📅 Monday–Friday through July 2nd
🕠 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
📍 Yreka High School Baseball Field

🌡️ It’s going to be HOT, so please come prepared!

Athletes should bring:
✅ Shorts
✅ T-shirt
✅ Cleats
✅ LOTS and LOTS of water! 💧💧💧

⚠️ Don’t forget to bring your completed physical! A current physical is required to participate.

This camp is completely voluntary, but it’s a great opportunity to shake off the summer rust, build conditioning, and sharpen football fundamentals before official practices begin.

We can’t wait to see our Jr. Miners back on the field! ❤️💛🖤⛏️

A huge thank you to all of the families who registered, attended fittings, volunteered their time, and helped us kick off another exciting season. We are incredibly grateful for the amazing support from our community.

To our newest Miner families—welcome! ❤️💛🖤 And to our returning families, thank you for continuing to be part of the Jr. Miner tradition.

Now the real fun begins! We can’t wait to see everyone at practices, on the sidelines, and cheering each other on all season long.
