Moo Duk Martial Arts Institute The Moo Duk Martial Arts Institute offers classes in the traditional Korean martial arts of Tang Soo Do and Hap Ki Do.

We are based in Ypsilanti, MI and are affiliated with the International Martial Arts Association. Moo Duk Martial Arts is a small family-oriented non-profit club that not only has programs for everyone, but also places high priority on careful individual attention to the needs of every student. For seniors with diminished physical capacity, we have specialized programs for stretching, flexibility

and self-defense. Our Tiny Tigers program is specially designed for four and five-year-olds. They learn respect and basic martial arts techniques while making lots of noise and having lots of fun. Our club's focus is on the traditional Korean martial arts of Tang Soo Do and Hapkido. Tang Soo Do is a Korean version of what many know as "Karate." Hapkido involves joint locks, manipulation of the limbs and throws. Students may choose to follow a path to black belt, or arrangements can be made for other specialized instruction.

With our focus on the traditional Korean martial arts of Tang Soo Do and Hapkido, we place high priority on careful individual attention to the needs of every student. This past weekend, Moo Duk Martial Arts took a road trip to New Jersey to participate in the IMA Championships. With 11 members participating and 4 family members cheering us on, we returned with 7 medals, and Master Fancher accepted a plaque in appreciation of our club's dedication and commitment. It was a weekend filled with fun and good sportsmanship! Tang Soo!
