Drop in batting this Tuesday at Candy Cane Park. On Tuesday, August 19th we are setting up the pitching machine one last time this summer. Just show up between 5:30 and 7:00. The younger kids can hit first, before the older kids put on a home run show.

Royals – It has been a great season. What a great group of kids! Congratulations to all the players for finishing in 1st place in what proved to be a very competitive division this year. You will receive your trophies at the picnic tomorrow. Thanks to all the Royals Families and Fans for their support of the players, team and our league.
CLOSING DAY PICNIC is TOMORROW

The Picnic is Pot Luck
The league provides Hot Dogs, Condiments, Lemonade, Water, Plates and Silverware
Players from each division are assigned something different to bring
Majors: Side Dish
You may want to bring some chairs for your use.

Thank you to our League President for updating the standings so fast. Here is a snapshot of the Ypsi-Arbor American Little League web site.

Savor the victory boys, on Friday the slates are wiped clean and we play tournament ball.

Very nice comments about our team from one of the opposing coaches tonight. He said this was the first time in 10 years he lost to an American League team. I'm not sure this is a compliment, but it seems sort of friendly.
