Out of the Fog- Good Morning from the Coast of Maine. As we continue my day on Penobscot Bay in The Great Schooner Race aboard Schooner Lewis R. French, I have not posted any fog shots yet. The fog bank was intense and at times one of the crew was sounding the foghorn and we were all keeping an eye out for land or another boat. It was fun yelling “land ho” and pointing! This is the majestic Schooner Mary Day and the beautiful Windjammer Angelique with those tanbark sails, racing side by side as they emerge from the fog bank. It was a sight to behold and I’m glad I had my long lens!

How is everyone? We have our work, literally, cut out for us today as I took down a wall in the roasting room to make room for more counter space and shelves. It was sorta nice wearing my tool belt again once I found it. Not to worry, this will not slow us down for roasting, shipping, or delivering! Mack the Knife in my cup this morning, still my personal favorite.

The boys from Inwood, Engine 95 Ladder 36. Visiting OakRidge Farm. It was a Grand Gathering and the stories were plentiful! Jack Mulvahill was voted the oldest and Best Looking!
