Youngstown Community Boating Youngstown Community Boating provides access to the Lower Niagara River for adults and children, instilling a love of sailing. Some last a lifetime.

Sailors aged 7-17 are instilled with a love of sailing, along with the fundamental sailing skills, that they can build upon; they receive instruction in safe boating, seamanship, dinghy sailing, sailboat racing, and boat maintenance. And the friendships made in the Junior Program can be the most enduring they make. The Junior Sailing Program is open to the public, no membership required!

Before the first race even begins, so much hard work happens behind the scenes. A huge thank you to our incredible parents, dedicated coaches, and hardworking sailors who spent the day washing boats, loading trailers, checking gear, towing boats, and hitting the road.

Your countless hours, early mornings, and willingness to do whatever it takes make these opportunities possible for our sailors. Safe travels to everyone heading out—we’re proud of your hard work and commitment.
