HE DID IT!!! 🏆🏁

This is Kam’s last season in 8.90, and one of his biggest goals was to earn the Track Championship for his age group and he did just that!

This kiddo has worked his butt off all season, and it definitely didn’t come easy. We had double points this weekend, and Kam honestly didn’t have the best luck, but he stayed focused and did exactly what he needed to do to lock in the points championship AND secure himself a spot at Bracket Finals!

This season has come with a lot of lessons learned for Kam, but for Mom and Dad too. Along with those lessons came SO many memories with our track family, so much growth, and so many smiles on Kam’s face every single time he turned on a win light. Seeing all of his hard work pay off makes every long day, late night, and stressful round worth it.

What a way to finish out our points season at Quaker City Motorsports Park! 🏁

A huge congratulations to our friend Greg Hootman on securing second place! You guys truly battled it out until the very end. Two of the most deserving kiddos there are, and it was so much fun watching them compete all season long!

Next up, we have Bracket Finals at Dragway 42, the Track Champion runoff against the 7.90 winner at the Pumpkin Race, and a few more races to officially finish out Kam’s final season in 8.90.

We also want to give a huge thank you to Blossom Racing Engines and Mike Bos Racecars for always being available to answer questions, offer guidance, and help us throughout the season. We truly couldn’t ask for better companies or better people to work with, and we are so thankful to have you guys in our corner!

And as always, thank you to all of our friends and family who continue to support us every single time we head to the track. Whether you’re there cheering him on, sending messages, helping in the pits, or supporting from home.. it means more to us than you know. We truly couldn’t do this without you guys!

This weekend is going to be a busy one for the Marcum Racing crew. 😮‍💨

Everyone will be making some test passes tomorrow at Quaker. Kam man has a double points weekend.. Saturday and Sunday to finish out his regular points season at Quaker City Motorsports Park. Chris races at Magnolia Motorsports Park Saturday evening for a points race for the Stick Shift points series at No Prep Mania 10.5.

Here’s to a chaotic, exhausting but fun filled weekend of racing with our family and friends.

🏁 Had a good weekend at the track! Last night our little one got back in his car for some testing since Dad got his car all fixed up and made some passes.. he was flying and even turned on his first win light!

Today was a points day for Kam.. he made it to the semi finals before getting knocked out. He did so great today and made big improvements on his light!

We are so proud of you both! There is nothing better than watching your kiddos do what they love.
