1️⃣ Have a plan 📝📊Without a training regimen, you will be wandering aimlessly trying to figure out what to do next. This will inhibit your results, and honestly waste your time.
2️⃣Turn your phone on airplane mode 🛫Headphones in. World off. Make sure you don’t answer emails, reply to texts, or field calls during your workout. 📲 It’s a surefire way to lose focus and waste time.
3️⃣Wear headphones 🎧 You’d be surprised how having headphones in will deter people from asking you questions or detracting from your workout. Quick tip to help you stay in your own lane. 🚘🚍🚖
4️⃣ Visualize your workout before going in. Take 5-10 mins to clear your head driving to your lift, during your warmup, or while you’re mobilizing, to get in the proper headspace to execute. 🧠😌That’s usually listening to a motivational clip, youtube video, podcast, or a music playlist that gets you locked in. 🧘♂️
5️⃣Warmup or add active mobility before lifting. 🤸♀️ This may seem counterintuitive since it is going to add time to your workout, but it will save you time in the long run to prevent injury, reduce the amount of warm up sets you’ll need, and get your blood flowing to ensure a fast start.
