From hands-on adventures and creative projects to outdoor games, new friendships, and unforgettable memories, our summer camps were filled with smiles, laughter, and fun every single day!

A huge thank you to all of the campers, families, and staff who made this summer one to remember. We loved watching campers learn new skills, explore their creativity, and make lasting friendships along the way.

The Yorkville American Legion Post 489 invites you to honor our nation and all of the veterans who have served with the 2026 Yorkville Flags of Valor as American Flags are displayed at Town Square during the week of Veterans Day.

SPONSOR A FLAG ($30/FLAG)
Sponsoring a flag gives you the opportunity to recognize and honor a veteran in your life. A flag can be sponsored for $30 a flag and will include a keepsake ribbon and option to personalize a tag in honor of a veteran. This flag will be displayed at Town Square (301 N Bridge, Yorkville) starting Monday, November 2 - Friday, November 13. Ribbons and tags will then be mailed to designated address listed on form the week following Veterans Day. To sponsor a flag or flags please visit https://bit.ly/SponsorAFlag.

Everyone is welcome to participate and support local veterans either through sponsoring a flag or donating to support the hundreds of veterans in Yorkville and Kendall County as all proceeds will be donated back to the Yorkville American Legion Post 489. VISIT THE FLAGS & HONOR VETERANS
We invite you to pay tribute to veterans who have fought and died by visiting Town Square Park during November 2-13 as all sponsored flags will line the park near the Memorial.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for an unforgettable National Night Out! We had an incredible evening celebrating our community with a galaxy full of fun, from meeting favorite Star Wars characters and building lightsabers to obstacle courses, games, crafts, and so much more.

A special thank you to the Yorkville Police Department and the Bristol Kendall Fire Protection District for helping make this event such a success and for all you do to keep our community safe each and every day.

We'd also like to extend our sincere appreciation to our amazing sponsors, vendors, and community partners who came out to support this event. Your generosity and participation helped create a memorable experience for so many families.

And most importantly, thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us! Seeing so many smiling faces made the night truly special.

🏀 Registration is NOW OPEN! 🏀

It's time to lace up your sneakers! Registration for our Kindergarten Co-Ed & Girls Winter Basketball Leagues is officially open and will remain open through August 21.

Whether your child is picking up a basketball for the first time or looking to continue building their skills, our recreational leagues provide a fun, supportive environment focused on fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Season Highlights:
🏀 Practices begin October 12
🏀 Games begin October 24
🏀 7-game season
🏀 Weekly evening practices
🏀 T-shirt, medal, and gym supervision included

Divisions:
• Kindergarten (Co-Ed)
• 1st/2nd Grade Girls
• 3rd/4th Grade Girls
• 5th/6th Grade Girls*
• 7th/8th Grade Girls

*The 5th/6th Grade Girls division will play against neighboring communities, with some Saturday travel required.
