🐮🌾 Meet Our American Group! 🌾🐮

A little look at some of the herd here at D&R Ranch! ❤️

These are our American cows and calves, enjoying the pasture and keeping a close eye on whoever comes by. 😂 There’s always a curious face (or two!) waiting at the fence.

We’re proud of the cattle we’re raising and thankful for the opportunity to watch these calves grow. Just another beautiful day of ranch life at D&R Ranch. 🤠🐂

🌾🚜 HAY SEASON AT D&R RANCH! 🚜🌾

The first cutting of 2026 is officially in the books!

🌱 1st Cutting
🚜 580 BALES

There’s nothing quite like seeing a field cut, baled, and finished after putting in the work. 💪🌾

We’re thankful for a great first cutting, and if the good Lord blesses us with some rain, we’ll be back at it for a second cutting! 🙏🌧️🌱

Here’s to a great start to the 2026 hay season at D&R Ranch!

We had the honor of buying the Reserve Grand chickens this year at the Cuero Livestock show, from Emilynn Moeller. She did a great job in show and we are so proud of you!!
We also purchased rabbits from Paisley Diebel again this year. Both these girls did a great job!

This year we decided to do add ons to more kids because we know so many and have grandkids showing also.

Our granddaughter Kaitlynn showed two steers this year and placed 1 st in both classes!! 🎉🎉
We had three show chickens and they placed:
Seth 3rd, Zane 5th and won Junior Showmanship 🎉, and Shyenne was 11th. All made sale!!!
Kassidy won Best of Show with her blanket. ❤️

Kassidy, Kaitlynn, Shyenne and Seth all did great on their homemaking projects.

Feeling beyond blessed tonight at D&R Ranch! 🐮💙

Kaitlynn’s steer “Toothless” took 1st place and is lot #15; Seth (3rd), Zane (5th), and Shy made SALE with their broilers in slots #118, #120, and #126 at tonight’s Cuero Livestock Show—the sale ring starts at 6pm!

We are so thankful for this amazing community that shows up for these kiddos year after year. Thank you for supporting them, cheering them on, and investing in their future!

What a night at the show! 🌟 Our granddaughter placed 1st in her class with both of her steers — such an incredible achievement! 🏆
A huge thank you to Homeyer Cattle, for all your hard work and guidance this season. It’s truly been a great year!
