9U Yorktown Tigers Black ‘23-‘24

This past weekend was our last tournament as a 9U team. The boys took on some great teams and proved they can play with anyone. Great battles all weekend and beating the 7th ranked team in the nation was a pretty special moment for them. So very proud of these boys.

Can’t say enough about this guy. The Hustle Belt went to MJ. This weekend MJ was all over the place. He took to the mound and impressed with his flamethrower arm. In the field, he was willing to do whatever it took. We stress how important it is to help the team in any way we can. Well he certainly did that all weekend. He was hit by not 1…. Not 2…. But 3 balls at the plate. Taking them for the team with a smile. Seeing him trucking down 3rd base line, beating the tag, and the yell of celebration at home is just one thing that stood out. MJ certainly earned the belt! Great job MJ!

The boys battled this weekend. They took to the fields right here in Yorktown. Lots of great plays and big hits. 1 run away from making it to the championship. Only 1 more tournament this season for this amazing group of boys.

2025 10U Yorktown Tiger Black Travel Tryouts

*Players cannot turn 11 prior to May 1, 2025

When: July 23 & 24 6pm-8pm. (Players are encouraged to attend both days)

Where: Yorktown JAA Facility (Brooklawn Field)

Focus: Development of player skills and knowledge in a competitive atmosphere

Info: Practices will start in the fall 2024 and continue throughout the winter. The teams will compete in up to 9 tournaments in 2025 as well as some doubleheaders.

What a weekend for this guy. Titus has been working hard for the weekend he had. He was due and boy did it all come at once. Big hits at the plate, great plays in the field, and a just fantastic all around weekend. The Hustle Belt was definitely earned. Extremely proud of seeking the work paying off. Titus was truly a force. Great job Titus!

Another great weekend of baseball. These boys get more and more impressive every time they take the field. This isn’t just a team. They are brothers. They fight for each other. They love each other. And boy is it fun to watch them play. They went to Cicero, IN this weekend and hit the ball better than they ever have. Bats were on fire. Ridiculous plays happening all over the field. They walked away winning and had some really close losses. They played hard, and they played together. Fun baseball this weekend! Great job Tigers!

So deserving of the Hustle Belt…. Jackson did it all this weekend. Catching in the heat is no easy task. He also took the mound and pitched some amazing innings. If all that wasn’t enough, he made some great plays in the field. But hey…. Let’s not forget about at the plate. Some great hits including a MONSTER triple bringing in crucial runs. Jackson was like a Swiss Army knife. Anything that was needed, he was ready. Amazing job Jackson!

What a weekend! These boys are gaining more knowledge and momentum each time they take the field. They fight for each other. They made it to semifinals of their tournament in Columbia City this past weekend. Tough competition but the boys are becoming a dangerous team. So proud of these Tigers!
