The Yorktown middle school softball team won the seventh grade game against Knightstown on Tuesday night.

Olivia Jones showed timely hitting on Tuesday, driving in five on three hits to lead Yorktown Middle School Tigers past Knightstown 6th/7th Grade 13-2 on Tuesday. Jones drove in runs on a home run in the first, a double in the second, and a single in the third.

Yorktown Middle School Tigers secured the victory thanks to eight runs in the third inning. Tatelynn King, Jones, and Macie Nixon each had RBIs in the frame.

Yorktown Middle School Tigers got things moving in the first inning. Yorktown Middle School Tigers scored two runs when Jones homered.

Yorktown Middle School Tigers scored eight runs in the third inning. Yorktown Middle School Tigers put the pressure on, lead by a single by Jones, a home run by Nixon, and a double by King.

The Yorktown middle school softball team won the eighth grade game against Knightstown on Tuesday night.

Alexis Fields was clutch at the plate with ducks on the pond on Tuesday, driving in four on three hits to lead Yorktown Middle School Tigers past Knightstown Lady Panthers 8th 11-1 on Tuesday. Fields drove in runs on a home run in the third and a double in the fifth.

Yorktown Middle School Tigers secured the victory thanks to six runs in the fifth inning. Yorktown Middle School Tigers put the pressure on, lead by doubles by Rylie Perkins and Fields, a walk by Kaylei Morgan, and a single by Tatelynn King.

Yorktown Middle School Tigers notched six runs in the fifth inning. Yorktown Middle School Tigers offense in the inning was led by Perkins, King, Morgan, and Fields, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Fields was in the pitcher's circle for Yorktown Middle School Tigers. The righty went five innings, allowing one run on two hits, striking out ten and walking one.

Yorktown Middle School Softball Team was victorious over Mt. Vernon middle school tonight, 13-3. This marked the 20th win of the season for the Tigers!!

Olivia Jones took the mound for the Tigers and pitched four innings, allowing three runs and striking out 5 to earn the win. Alexis fields pitched one inning, allowing no runs and struck out two to earn the save!

The Tigers were led by Bella Randolph, Hailey Campbell and Olivia Jones at the plate, all picking up multiple hits on the day! Randolph finish the day with three runs batted in and Campbell and Jones both had two on the day!!

Olivia Jones and Olivia Jaromin both cranked homers in the game, Jaromin with a solo shot in the bottom of the first and Jones with a two run shot in the bottom of the third

Next up Knightstown on Tuesday, the final game of the year!
